For years, I’ve been wanting to visit my hometown of Columbus, Indiana, but not until this month did I have the chance to make the trip! Dylan and I decided to make the two-day road trip, starting from San Marcos, Texas, all the way to the Hoosier state. The drive was therapeutic, but not nearly as uplifting as getting to see all of the sweet, familiar faces from my past! After catching up with friends and riding around the familiar town and countryside, it was hard for me to believe that 14 years had gone by since I was last there. Even as an adult, it was difficult for me to leave! I’ll always treasure the people and places that helped sculpt me during the first 11 years of my life :)
